Achieving net zero: the investor angle
6th August 2019 by CMIA
Reaching net zero carbon emissions is the new reality.
Take a look at this new report from CMIA member Mott MacDonald: http://bit.ly/CarbonCrunch6
In May 2019, the Committee on Climate Change recommended a greenhouse gas emissions target of net zero by 2050. In June, the prime minister delivered a speech committing the UK government to this new target, with signs that similar targets will be legislated across the EU and internationally.
To reach this ambitious target will require industry to make progress on carbon reduction on an unprecedented scale. This report outlines how this will be possible.
