COP26 will be a pivotal one to demonstrate climate ambition. As the Paris Agreement moves into its first five-year cycle, the focus must be on a major boost of climate finance to support strong and green recovery packages and enhanced ambition of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). Meanwhile, countries are defining their actions and investment needs in increasing detail.

Resources have to be mobilized from all sources and private finance is by far the biggest and largely untapped pool of capital. If sufficient international public climate finance resources are deployed to mobilize and blend this pool of financing, it will be possible to move from billions to the trillions required.

Bringing together a diverse panel of leading industry, market, and finance experts, this event will demonstrate how and why NDCs can be the entry point for businesses to identify potential business opportunities.
